Because I’m thankful for a great many things in life I didn’t know which photo to choose for today’s challenge.
Which moment or thing from all the good stuff that’s been thrown at me from time to time?

I’m thankful for each and every one of my family members and friends, for all the little pleasures like flowers, the ocean, the blue sky, animals, the mountains…

I also deeply appreciate the fact that we can enjoy a good meal several times a day, that we do have fresh, clear, water to drink, bathe and even swim in.
I’m honestly thrilled to have a roof over my head, good central heating and a comfy bed to sleep in.
I love my husband and he loves me back.
My parents are still alive and live just across the street…

I could go on bragging about all the good thinks I’m thankful for a whole lot more, I could prolong the list of things…

Well, let me explain to you all why I chose this photo out of all the others to choose from.

This one picture, which I have taken myself extending my arms to the limit to hold the camera as high above our heads as possible, shows my husband and me while we are lying flat on our backs on a tiny little boardwalk, at a rather serene lake, just having a moment of rest, peace and quiet.
As you can see.. We were having a real good time; happy being there with the two of us.
We were on our honeymoon…
As we were lying there we were aware of all the little things that make our life rich and worth living.
And that’s why I chose this picture, it, in a way, represents to me all the things I’m thankful for.
